As a songwriter and music producer, Steve's work ranges from his acclaimed band Dubstar in the 1990s, to topline writing for contemporary artists including Flosstradamus, Trentemøller and Aryay (OWSLA). As a journalist, Steve specialises in music technology, music business and composition. His first published article, a computer program the reader could type into their Spectrum was in Sinclair User at the age of twelve, and has since contributed to Music Technology magazine, Future Music magazine, Computer Music magazine, and various podcasts and websites including BBC worldwide website.
As an occasional educationalist, Steve designs and delivers onsite and online degree-level courses, specialising in music composition, music business and music technology. He currently lectures on songwriting at undergraduate level at BIMM Brighton.
